Privacy Policy

Effective as of: May 25, 2018

Your privacy is extremely important to us. To better protect you, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

This Privacy Policy relates to information collected by Search Marketing Group LLC DBA Nuvro (referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Nuvro” “we” or “us” or “our”) through your use of our website and our Services, features, and information available on our website (which are collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Nuvro Service”).

The Scope of this Privacy Policy

Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not govern all the information Nuvro may process. This Privacy Policy is also incorporated into and governed by our Terms of Use. Our commitment to customers and service providers is governed by a separate Security Policy and by a Data Protection Addendum.

Our commitments to employees are governed by our internal employment policies. In all instances we are committed to transparency with our customers, employees, and to protecting your data privacy.

What Kind of Information do we Collect?

You will be required to establish an account to take advantage of Nuvro Services. If you wish to establish an account, you will be required to provide us with information, including personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information. In addition, we may obtain your personally identifiable information from you if you identify yourself to us by sending us an e-mail with questions or comments.

Depending on your use of the Nuvro Service, we collect two types of information:

Personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information.

Personally Identifiable Information: Personally identifiable information identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you. Examples of personally identifiable information include your name, IP address, company name, job title, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and billing and credit card information.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information: Non-personally identifiable information is information, any single item of which, by itself, cannot be used to identify or contact you, including demographic information (like age, profession, company industry, gender, current location, or zip code), IP addresses, browser types, domain names, and statistical data involving the use of the Nuvro Service. Certain non-personally identifiable information may be considered a part of your personally identifiable information if it were combined with other identifiers, such as combining your zip code with your street address, in a way that enables you to be identified. However, the same pieces of information are considered non-personally identifiable information when they are taken alone or combined only with other non-personally identifiable information, for example, your account preferences.

Why do we Need your Personal Data?

We need certain personal data to provide you with access to Nuvro. However, we will only process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. If you registered with us, you will have been asked to select the checkbox indicating your agreement to provide this data to access our services. This consent provides us with the legal basis we require under applicable law to process your data. You maintain the right to withdraw such consent at any time. If you do not agree to our use of your personal data in line with this policy, you may not use the Nuvro Service.

Information we collect automatically when you use the Services:

We collect certain information about you when you use our Services, including browsing our websites and taking certain actions within the Services.

  • Your use of the Services: We keep track of only limited information about you when you visit and interact with our Services. We value your privacy, both in respect to your personal data as well as your business data. Because of this, we do not monitor or track data regarding your projects, tasks, notes, interactions or attachments other than the number of such items as a means of understanding which features Nuvro customers generally utilize.
  • Device and Connection Information: We collect information about your computer and devices you use to access the Nuvro Service. This device information includes your connection type and settings when you install, access, update, or use our Services. We also collect information through your device about your operating system, browser type, IP address, URLs of referring/exit pages, device identifiers, and crash data. We use your IP address and/or country preference to approximate your location to provide you with a better Service experience. How much of this information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the Services.
  • Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: Nuvro and our third-party partners, such as our advertising and analytics partners, use cookies and other tracking technologies (e.g., web beacons, device identifiers and pixels) to provide functionality and to recognize you across different Services and devices. We may use cookies in connection with our websites and services and some of the cookies may be linked to your personally identifiable information. Any time you register on a site, use a site, place an order through a site, or identify yourself or the computer you are using through a site, you will be deemed to have given use permission to link your personally identifiable information with cookies. Most or all browsers permit you to disable or reject certain cookies. You can do this by setting the preferences in the browser. Use the “help” feature of your browser to obtain more information about refusing cookies. However, if you set the browser you use to reject cookies or otherwise disable them, you may not be able to use any or all functionality at one or more of the sites or it may take additional time to utilize such functionality. Furthermore, one or more of the organizations working with us to develop or provide our services or products, or with which we otherwise do business, or to which we provide links from a site, may also use cookies of their own. We have no control over such organizations’ uses of cookies and users should review the privacy policies of Nuvro subprocessors to determine the uses such organizations make of cookies. Learn more about how Nuvro utilizes cookies.
  • Log files: We collect non-personally identifiable information through our Internet log files, which record data such as user IP addresses, browser types, domain names, and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of the Nuvro Service. This information may be used to analyze trends, to administer the Nuvro Service, to monitor the use of the Nuvro Service, and to gather general demographic information. We may link this information to personally identifiable information for these and other purposes, such as personalizing your experience on the Nuvro Service, and evaluating the Nuvro Service in general.

Information we receive from other sources:

We also receive your email address from other Service users when they provide it to invite you to the Services.
  • Other services you link to your account: We receive information about you when you or your administrator enable third-party apps or integrate or link a third-party service with our Services. For example, you may authorize our Services to access and display files from a third-party document-sharing service within the Services interface. The information we receive when you link or integrate our Services with a third-party service depends on the settings, permissions and privacy policy controlled by that third-party service. You should always check the privacy settings and notices in these third-party services to understand what data may be disclosed to us or shared with our Services.
